Dissemination of Digital Habitat Maps

The Digital Habitat Maps can be obtained from the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research as ASCII-files (see Research Agreement in German). Download the Research Agreement as a Word-Document, fill it out and send it back to the given adress!

To evaluate the provided data format you may download a test-file. Please see example below.
The first six rows of the file are header lines and contain information about the dimensions of the grid. The values indicate the relative area of the selected habitat type per 1km².
